HS Daydream’s Masterpiece is one of the best bred, up and coming stallions of the day. Extremely gifted, he was destined for the show ring before a catastrophic injury blinded him just weeks before he went into training. A loss to the show world but a great asset to the breeding world. He is by the number one rated sire Undulata’s Nutcracker, known for siring very athletic and game offspring including Fine Harness World’s Grand Champions Nutcracker’s Nirvana and CH Lady Mandolin, and Three-Gaited World’s Grand Champions CH Macadamia, HS Daydream’s Heads Up, and CH Don O’Neil. Nelson Green saw this colt long line just days before his injury and is quoted as saying, “That is the best prospect I’ve seen in my career.”

His dam, Hall of Fame broodmare and WC A Daydream Believer (BHF), is a full sister to WC CH Vegas Dreams, RWC Keep Dreaming, and RWC I Am The Dream (BHF) (dam of WCC CH HS Baby Steps, WCC HS I’m A Dreamer, WC HS I’m Hot Wired, RWC HS I’m Dreaming The Blues, RWC HS I’m A Big Deal, RWC HS Honor Thy Mother, etc., and second dam of WC Going Steady and WC HS As Lovely As Ever), and a half sister to Man What A Dream (BHF) (dam of WC Riverdreams’ Remarcable, WC Exclamation Mark! and WC Riverdreams’ Spitfire). His second dam, Dream A Dream (BHF), is by WC sire WC Sultan’s Spartan and is line bred to Three-Gaited WGC CH Valley View Supreme. Dream A Dream (BHF) is a half sister to the well-known CH Spirited Wing and to Inspiration’s Star (second dam of multiple five-gaited WCC CH Tigerlee).

His third dam, Dream Waltz Supreme, is the only full sister to WC sire Supreme Spirit, and is a half sister to RWC sire Waltz King and to Dream Awhile (dam of WC CH Star Waltz and WC Texas Gunslinger). His fourth dam, Five-Gaited WGC CH Dream Waltz (BHF), is a full sister to six-time WGC CH Wing Commander, WC CH Lover’s Lane (dam of Three-Gaited WGC CH Lover’s Sensation), WC sire RWCC Private Contract, CH Primrose Path (dam of WC sire Baron De Bastrop and RWC Arbor Rose), etc. His fifth and sixth dams are Hall of Fame broodmares as well. There are five different Hall of Fame broodmares in the first four generations of his pedigree and a total of 12 different Hall of Fame broodmares in his five generation pedigree, with eight being the average.

HS Daydream’s Masterpiece is the only stallion full brother to Three-Gaited WGC HS Daydream’s Heads Up. He is also a full brother to WC HS Daydream’s Fashionista and HS Daydream’s Knockout (dam of RWC HS Rose’s Knockout). He is a half brother to Fine Harness WGC CH Castledream, WCC CHHS Dignitary, WCC HS Decorum, WC HS Daydream’s Believe In Me, WC HS Daydream’s Celebrity, RWC Dream Castle, RWC CHHS First Day, RWC HS Daydream’s Perfect Gentleman, HS Daydream’s Heiress (dam of WC HS Brilliant Heiress), HS A Faithful Lady (dam of WCC Tua), A Pleasant Surprize (dam of WC Just Surprize Me), HS Daydream’s Dream Girl (dam of RWCs HS Color My World, HS Dream Girl’s Best Man and HS Dream Girl’s Darling Doris), and RWC sires HS Castle Vision and HS Daydream’s Dignity.

He traces to six-time WGC CH Wing Commander multiple times. He also has WGC sire RWC Oman’s Desdemona Denmark on his top side and WCC sire WC Attache adding even more gameness and go forward. His breeding is a classic example of the “golden cross” of CH Wing Commander x CH Valley View Supreme, known for producing the beauty and elegance of CH Valley View Supreme combined with the power and motion of CH Wing Commander.

His first foals out of mares such as WC producer Daphne Dearest, WC producer Positively Peggy and multiple RWC producer HS Daydream’s Dream Girl are just now entering training. Only seven years old, the sky is the limit for the aptly named HS Daydream’s Masterpiece. He is truly the culmination of the Hagan Saddlebreds breeding program and is poised to make his mark in the breeding shed.
